The Measurement Software for all Measurement Applications

basiICColor catch offers universal and very flexible measurement of linearization, profiling, and quality assurance targets. A large variety of instruments and targets are supported. Because basICColor catch is highly automated, it only takes one mouse click to make the measurement readings and save the file. Upgrading to the 'pro' version will expand the capabilities of basICColor catch. Additional readings including: spectral densitiy, dot gain, colorimetric values under user specified light conditions, import external data, and averaging measurement data based on spectral data.

Automation

The job defaults are customizable. The parameters can also be automated to perform all functions with just a single mouse click.

Multiple Measurement Applications

The "pro" module expands the range of applications available to color professionals. Instead of L*a*b* limitations, you can select an option which will save spectral data, export dot gain values to linearize an image setter and average multiple readings. The results can be exported as a spectral data file.

Measurement Device Support

catch pro supports a large range of measurement devices from all of the leading manufacturers. The utility is unique in that it not only gathers spectral data, but also re-calculates "normalized" Lab values.
