Measurement Instrument for monitor and printer profiling and quality control

The EyeOne is a universally accepted spectrophotometer capable of measuring reflective, emissive and ambient light. Our bundle includes basICColor catch pro capture software. The highly automated interface lets users start complex measurement tasks with a single mouse click, capturing and saving data on the fly. basICColor catch pro is the ideal entry into the broad range of basICColor modules. The unit is available either with a UVcut filter, or with no filter. Please specify, when ordering.

Transmission Measurements

In emission mode, every monitor can be calibrated and profiled. The device also supports measurement of ambient light, when measured through the supplied diffusion filter. basICColor diLIGHT or basICColor LEDlight can be calibrated for a viewing situation compliant with international standards (ISO 3664:2009).

Reflective Measurements

Linearization and printer profiling targets can be read in reflection mode. Combined with control patches such as the UGRA/FOGRA media wedge, or the ECI/bvdm GrayCon series, one can track production run quality management. The device can also be used in spot measurement mode to measure a single patch or object.

Data Abstracts

The 'pro' module allows users to store spectral data for spectral ICC profile creation, for exporting dot gain values used to correct dot gain on the imagesetter RIP, or achieving pass/fail results in quality control scenarios for proof and print.
