Color Management Preflight Tool

basICColor profile genie is a powerful and easy-to-use ICC preflight / color management tool. It is available both for Mac OS X and for Windows. The ultra-quick tool checks image data files (TIFF, JPEG) as well as placed files within PDFs, and compares their CMYK separation attributes with your specified standard for the printing condition. No embedded profile? basICColor profile genie will also analyze the color separation, find the most likely ICC profile, and embed it into the image file. This prevents mismatches and missing ICC source profiles in a downstream RIP. By to checking for missing profiles, missing rendering intent, and profile mismatches, profile genie helps determine the necessity for color corrections before going to print.

Brilliantly Simple

The operation is simple and intuitive: Files can be processed by dragging and dropping them onto the program interface. Using hotfolders it can be integrated with other workflow tools like basICColor gHOST.

basICColor profile genie pairs with Enfocus PowerSwitch or FullSwitch for a complete preflight evaluation and correction workflow.

basICColor little genie

basICColor genie is available in two versions: basICColor little genie for image files (TIFF, JPEG) and basICColor profile genie for both, image files and PDF files.
