UDACT - Ugra Display Analysis and Certifcation Tool

The Ugra Display Analysis and Certifcation tool validates  calibrated monitors to the ISO 12646 standard. The tool works with all popular colorimeters.

While the Ugra / FOGRA proofing standard is internationally recognized, the industry lacked a comparable soft proof standard which is quick and easy to use.

Ugra was the first to offer a soft proof validation standard. Now users have a tool for effectively testing and evaluating soft proof systems.

The Ugra monitor test, called Ugra Display Analysis and Certification Tool, is based on the measurement of the media wedge v2, followed by a review of the calibration accuracy, as well as the white point and gray balance. The user can select from several target color gamuts, along with including threshold limits for any given printing process. The analysis tool helps individuals compare relative monitor fidelity between two or more displays. It helps to validate a studio reference. Various evolving technologies, such as LED backlight, can be compared for strenghts and weaknesses. Monitor decay can now be quantified. This tool offers many critical applications for the evaluation and monitoring of competing or integrated display systems.
